Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9:30 am–1:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (910) 868-3255. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 734 reviews, which is a strong result for a seafood market in Fayetteville and suggests consistent service.

Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fayetteville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Everytime I come here the young asian guy is always aggressive with me for one reason or the next, its mostly that he is impatient and is always rushing me. I like to pick my fish for quality and size which is my right as a consumer, I also buy a large amount to last the month so the order is always somewhat tall (you would think that is a good thing) yet I am not being met with the same respect and dignity as others each time I visit. I travel atleast 45mins to patron this business only to be embarrassed by this man always drawing unnecessary attention to me when all is want is my dang fish. Yesterday I came with my mother in law whom is ill, i told her to rest and I began to place both our orders simultaneously, initially I was being helped by a black lady and she was doing great I was being helped and she was courteous but here comes this guy agaaaaiiiinn always looking for it with me, tells her to leave so that he can serve me with his hostility and complain that I am taking too long (keep in mind I am ordering for two people) Its just always a bad experience with this guy, if not for the quality of the fish there I would NEVER come back for fear of being bullied yet again.

Saw good reviews and was craving fish. Crowded but didn’t have to wait over 15 minutes for fresh fish. Fish had enough seasoning to give it flavor with a light crunch. Stingy on the tartar sauce. Only received 2 tiny packs for 3 pieces of fish. Ordered a flounder plate. Came with 3 good size pieces, 2 slices of bread and fries. Disappointed cole slaw was not included. Meal cost $12. Sanitation score was 92 on 10/4/25. Couldn’t make out the date of the inspection. The place is dirty, with clutter on tables, supplies stacked on the floor and benches instead of in closets. Table was broken and doors left open to storage rooms facing out to dining room. Didn’t look at conditions of bathroom. However a good β€œhole in the wall” typically makes the best food. Service was fast, friendly and fair prices for what you get. I would gladly return, but for take out. Accepted cash, debit and credit. Arrive before 12:45pm on Saturday since they close at 1:00pm and take the last order around then.

Hidden gem in Fayetteville. This was our first time coming here and it reminds me of a mom and pop restaurant. The line was already busy when, we walked in. It's spacious on the inside and the fresh fish looks absolutely beautiful. I was the most impressed by the "no fresh fish" smell when, we walked in and even as it was cooked you could hardly smell it. Mr. Kim and his staff are very nice and professional. The younger gentleman (possibly the son of the owners) that was working in back by the sink; he had on a light yellow shirt and gray sweatpants has some awesome fish cut and dressing skills. πŸ™‚πŸ₯°πŸ™‚ He was done so fast; I didn't get to see it all. πŸ™‚ You are amazing. πŸ™‚ We chose a whole red snapper plate with the fish to be filleted and cooked to order while we waited. The fish was cooked perfectly and it was fresh; like I caught it and cooked it right then. πŸ™‚ I would highly recommend coming here. I know we will be coming back here. They have gained new customers.
